Job Summary
The Head of Protocol and International Affairs will lead a dedicated team within the Public Relations and Protocol Department, focusing on the strategic planning and execution of municipal protocol and international relations. This role involves overseeing ceremonial events, managing high-level delegation visits, and serving as a key liaison for public figures and city departments. A significant part of the position includes coordinating and leading city partnerships and other international diplomatic initiatives, requiring close cooperation with protocol departments across various governmental levels. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional organizational talent, and a high degree of personal and social competence, ensuring the city's diplomatic engagements are handled with utmost professionalism and integrity.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Humanities, Economics, Cultural Studies, or Social Sciences, OR qualification for civil service status A 13 LBesO in Administration and Finance, OR completed Administrative Course II.
Experience
- Professional experience in protocol is desirable
- Professional experience in public administration is desirable
- Several years of leadership experience are advantageous
