Job Summary
This role involves critical maintenance, revision, and project coordination for conveyor systems in open-pit mining operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and commissioning of mechatronic systems, as well as troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing defective components. Daily tasks include working on power generation facilities, primarily in conveying and bulk material handling technology, ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of complex industrial machinery. Required Skills
Education
Vocational training as a Mechatronics Technician, Electrician, or comparable qualification in the electrical trade.
Experience
- Professional experience in maintenance, revisions, and project coordination for conveyor systems in open-pit mining.
- Experience working with energy generation facilities, particularly in conveying and bulk material handling technology.
- Experience in installation, configuration, and commissioning of mechatronic systems and components.
- Experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and fault rectification of systems and individual components.
- Experience in replacing defective components (sensor/actuator) or faulty parts.
- Experience in converting and cleaning systems.
- Experience in supporting disassembly, assembly, and maintenance of components and assemblies.
