This role involves leading and coordinating a team of 20 professionals within the Civil Engineering Department of the City of Hanover, focusing on main roads, special structures, and tendering processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for the conceptualization, design, and tendering of major traffic routes, special constructions, and cycling/pedestrian infrastructure, aligning with urban development plans and current mobility trends. Key responsibilities include guiding planning teams, ensuring successful project execution in technical, economic, and scheduling aspects, and representing the city in various committees and with external stakeholders. Required Skills

Education

Completed scientific university degree (e.g., Master, Diploma (University)), preferably in Civil Engineering with a specialization in road construction or traffic planning, OR eligibility for career group 2, second entry-level position in Technical Services. Equivalent skills and experience ("Other Employees") may also be considered.

Experience
