The specialist will assess projects and plans as a public interest body and expert authority, focusing on environmental impact assessments, species, and biotope protection. Key responsibilities include evaluating interventions in nature and landscapes, managing environmental data in specialized databases, and providing general expert advice on nature conservation. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in biology, geoecology, landscape management, or nature conservation, coupled with strong communication skills, the ability to work independently, and proficiency in standard IT applications. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Diplom FH/Bachelor) in Biology, Geoecology, Landscape Management, Nature Conservation, or a comparable field. Higher degrees in a comparable field are also accepted.

Experience

  • Professional experience in nature conservation and environmental assessment
  • Experience with public authority procedures (e.g., immission control, construction, spatial planning)
  • Experience in evaluating interventions in nature and landscapes
  • Experience in data collection and management for nature conservation
