Job Summary
This role is for an Environmental and Landscape Planner to join an organization focused on water management and environmental protection in the Rhenish mining area. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing landscape planning documents for various civil engineering projects, providing expert support for species protection assessments, and overseeing ecological construction. Key responsibilities include independent project management, representing the client to landscape authorities, and managing procurement processes for engineering and construction services. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and negotiation skills, a pragmatic approach, and excellent communication abilities to contribute to sustainable water management and structural change in the region. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Bachelor/Master or Diploma) in Biology, Agricultural Sciences, Ecology, Geography, or comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in landscape planning for urban drainage, stormwater, and wastewater treatment measures (desirable)
- Experience with planning, procurement, and/or construction supervision of building and infrastructure projects (desirable)
- Knowledge of procurement law, water law, and HOAI (German fee schedule for architects and engineers) (desirable)
