The City of Jena is seeking an Environmental Planning Officer to join its Environmental Protection department. In this role, you will be responsible for the interdisciplinary ecological processing and integration of environmental concerns into municipal projects and planning procedures. Key tasks include preparing and evaluating environmental data for reports, conducting environmental impact assessments (UVPG), and developing environmental quality objectives. You will also maintain the environmental information system. The ideal candidate will have a background in environmental protection or a related field, possess strong analytical and communication skills, and be proficient in German.
