Job Summary

The successful candidate will serve as the Global Sales Manager for a leading technology company specializing in complex special plant engineering, reporting directly to the Global Sales Director. This multifaceted role involves both strategic market development and active account management for global customers throughout the entire sales and pre-order process. Responsibilities include coordinating technical and commercial sales processes, developing competitive offers and complex bids, and leading commercial and technical contract negotiations. Furthermore, the manager will provide technical leadership, coaching, and best practices to the matrixed Sales Force (Sales and Application Engineers). This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex, interdisciplinary global projects within an innovative, international market leader.

Required Skills

Education

University or Applied Sciences Degree in Mechanical, Process, or Chemical Engineering, ideally complemented by business or sales qualifications.

Experience

  • Several years of practical experience in comparable global functions as a Sales Manager.
  • Experience gained within international structures in the technical project business (Plant Construction/Machinery Construction).
  • Specific practice from strongly regulated industries (e.g., special plant construction, turbomachinery, energy systems, or power plant construction) is advantageous.
