The Head of IT Operations will lead the ICT and Business Application Management teams for a successful production company specializing in high-precision packaging solutions for international clients. This pivotal leadership role ensures the secure and smooth operation of the entire IT infrastructure, managing system stability, availability, and maintenance windows. A key focus is actively driving the further development of the operating organization, optimizing IT processes, and ensuring compliance with IT governance and security guidelines. The successful candidate will coordinate IT projects, manage external service providers, and oversee the IT operations budget. Expertise in IT security, data protection, and modern cloud technologies (Azure/Entra ID) is essential to build a future-proof IT environment. This position offers a responsible role in an innovative company with flexible working models and exciting transformation projects, requiring strong leadership skills and C1 proficiency in both German and English.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Computer Science or Business Informatics, or comparable qualification
Experience
- Several years of experience in IT management
- Professional experience in IT operations, business applications, and infrastructure
- Practical experience with Cloud environments (Azure, Azure AD, Entra ID)
- Demonstrated expertise in IT Service Management (ITIL) and project methods (Agile, Scrum, PRINCE2)
