Job Summary
Join the German Pension Insurance North Bavaria as a Tax and Accounting Specialist in Bayreuth. This part-time, permanent position (19.5 hours/week) involves preparing business transactions for the tax office, assisting with VAT pre-declarations and tax audits, and acting as a key interface between departments and tax advisors. You will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate tax-related bookings and payments, managing daily and monthly closings, and contributing to annual financial statements. The role requires a strong background in finance or accounting, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in standard office software, with a willingness to learn internal systems. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Finance, Accounting, Taxation, Business Law, or Business Administration; or equivalent qualification as a Certified Specialist (Fachwirt). Additional qualification as a Certified Accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter) is desirable.
Experience
- Professional experience in tax and accounting operations
- Experience with daily and monthly financial closings
- Experience with payment processing systems (willingness to learn internal systems)
