Job Summary
This role involves orchestrating the preparation, support, and management of public law approval and permitting procedures for a major grid expansion project. The Permit Planner will be responsible for creating comprehensive work packages, coordinating internal and external service providers, and managing interfaces with internal departments such as easement and crossing management during the approval phase through to construction. A key part of the role includes engaging in discussions and negotiations with permitting authorities, specialist agencies, citizens, landowners, and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a background in environmental engineering, urban planning, or geography, coupled with professional experience in managing permits for large-scale infrastructure projects. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to critical infrastructure development within a leading European transmission system operator, emphasizing teamwork, project management, and a commitment to a safe working environment.
Required Skills
Education
University or university of applied sciences degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Urban Planning, Geography, or a comparable field
Experience
- Professional experience in supporting permits and approval procedures for large infrastructure projects
- Experience in project management
