This role is for a dedicated Project Manager to lead municipal heat planning initiatives at the district level for the city of Wiesbaden. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing energy concepts, integrating climate protection and adaptation measures into urban development, and coordinating energy consulting and implementation efforts for climate-neutral and resilient districts. A key aspect of the role involves extensive stakeholder engagement, including citizens, city departments, public agencies, and external partners like heat network operators. The position also requires strong public relations and networking skills, including organizing workshops to activate community involvement. Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree (Diplom-Uni/TU/TH or Master's) in Urban Planning, Energy, Sustainability Management, or a comparable field.
Experience
- Professional experience in climate protection, renewable energies, and energy-efficient renovation (advantageous)
- Experience in moderating and leading interdisciplinary projects (advantageous)
- Experience in public relations and stakeholder participation (advantageous)
