Job Summary
This role involves the precise handling and integration of fiber optic components and complex subassemblies for high-accuracy sensor units. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing, storing, and bonding optical glass fibers, performing meticulous disassembly and integration tasks, and conducting thorough incoming inspections and intermediate tests. A key aspect of the role is visual control and evaluation of preceding work steps, applying decision criteria, and defining rework measures, all while adhering to strict quality standards and configuration specifications. This position requires a high degree of precision, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team, contributing to the development of critical systems for various applications from aerospace to underwater environments.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering, as an Electrician, Mechatronics Technician, or comparable qualification.
Experience
- Experience in handling optical fibers
- Experience with hazardous and adhesive materials
- Experience working with microscopes and performing fine motor tasks
- Knowledge in configuration management
