Job Summary
This role is for an experienced Engineer or Scientist to join the BG BAU, a professional association focused on safety and health in the construction industry in Germany. As a Prevention Specialist (Aufsichtsperson I), you will be instrumental in overseeing and advising member companies on demanding construction projects and workplaces, ensuring safe working conditions. Key responsibilities include managing other prevention experts, conducting accident investigations, advising businesses, and delivering training. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering or natural sciences, particularly in construction, coupled with at least two years of relevant professional experience. This position offers a meaningful role with significant societal impact, comprehensive training, and the potential for a permanent position in the public service, including the possibility of a home office after training.
Required Skills
Education
University degree, preferably in Civil Engineering (Dipl.-Ing. (FH) or Bachelor's equivalent) in Engineering Sciences, Natural Sciences, or a related field relevant to the area of deployment.
Experience
- • At least two years of relevant professional experience in the construction industry as a construction manager or in comparable construction-related services

- Class B driving license required. Willingness to regularly participate in further training. Initial two-year training as a Prevention Specialist (Aufsichtsperson I) is part of the role.
