Job Summary
This role is for a Project Engineer specializing in SCADA components within HVDC control systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining HMIs, specifications, and manuals, as well as clarifying signal lists with internal and external stakeholders. A key part of the role involves managing the central control system signal database and ensuring seamless system integration and commissioning of various components in test setups in Erlangen and Forchheim. This includes conducting signal tests and supporting acceptance tests with suppliers and customers. The position offers an opportunity to work with Siemens Energy Global GmbH & Co. KG, focusing on critical energy transmission infrastructure and contributing to complex, high-impact projects.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or Computer Science
Experience
- Professional experience in project handling, customer support, and working in complex teams
- Professional experience in control systems for energy transmission facilities, including integration of sub-systems, process/signal data processing, signal mediation, database system function and application, and control system protocols
