Job Summary

This role is for a Hardware Engineer to join a leading company in engineering and power plant construction in Erlangen. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating manufacturing documentation for control cabinets, specifically within safety control technology. Key tasks include translating functional requirements into qualified hardware platforms, calculating critical parameters like current consumption, power loss, and voltage drop, and estimating temperatures. The role also involves managing documentation using a dedicated system and coordinating with manufacturing, testing, and commissioning teams to produce customer documentation. Candidates should possess a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Automation Technology, some professional experience, and strong proficiency in both German and English.
