Job Summary

The Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control (BAFA) is seeking multiple dedicated Diplom-Engineers (FH) / B. Eng to join their Energy Department 5 in Eschborn. In this role, you will primarily handle the technical processing of applications within federal funding programs for energy and resource efficiency in industry, or for efficient heating networks. Day-to-day tasks involve resolving technical and administrative legal issues, communicating complex technical matters to both experts and laypersons, corresponding with applicants and energy consultants, and advancing the implementation of future-oriented technologies in Germany. You will also be responsible for the technical review and evaluation of funding applications, supporting IT processes, generating statistics, and representing your department to various stakeholders. This position offers a chance to contribute significantly to Germany's energy transition within a supportive public service environment.
