Job Summary

This role involves hands-on support for a multinational IT company's data center operations in Frankfurt am Main. The Data Center Technician will be responsible for preparing, staging, setting up, and performing startups and shutdowns of various data center components like racks, hard drives, and switches, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and deployment standards. Key tasks include post-execution quality checks, diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, replacing faulty components, and decommissioning hardware for upgrades. This position requires a proactive individual with a foundational understanding of IT hardware and networking, capable of working independently and adapting to non-standard business hours.
