Job Summary
The Ministry for Environment, Nature Conservation and Transport of North Rhine-Westphalia is seeking multiple student assistants to join their IT department. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting the central IT operations, engaging in IT support tasks such as hotline assistance, ticket processing, and on-site support. Your responsibilities will also include contributing to documentation, assisting with IT workshops, and managing IT assets through inventory and data maintenance. This position offers a flexible work schedule, requiring a minimum of 7 hours per week, making it ideal for students seeking practical experience in a professional IT environment within a government ministry. Required Skills
Education
Enrollment as a student in Computer Science or a comparable degree program at a university
Experience
- Professional experience in IT operations (advantageous)
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server (advantageous)
- Experience with securing Windows Clients (advantageous)
- Experience with Microsoft PowerShell (advantageous)
- Experience with VMware virtualization (advantageous)
- Experience with Microsoft SCCM for software distribution (advantageous)
- Experience with network components (advantageous)
