Job Summary

The Spandau District Office in Berlin is seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to join its Road and Green Spaces Department, specifically within the Civil Engineering division. In this full-time, permanent role, you will be responsible for the construction management of maintenance and renewal projects for roads, paths, and public spaces across the district. Your day-to-day tasks will include processing special use permits for public utilities and construction, preparing tender documents, conducting technical and economic evaluations of bids, developing traffic and disposal concepts, overseeing construction, and managing project billing. This position also involves arranging necessary safety measures in emergency situations and providing technical and organizational support to students and trainees. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Diplom FH or Bachelor of Engineering) in Civil Engineering, with a specialization in Road and Traffic Infrastructure, Civil Engineering, or an equivalent specialization.

  • Several years of experience in public administration
