Job Summary
The Landkreis Nordwestmecklenburg is seeking a full-time, permanent IT Management Officer to join their Digitalization department. This role primarily involves managing IT and digitalization projects, from preparation and execution to reporting. Key responsibilities include developing and updating IT development concepts to optimize administrative processes, supporting IT-driven process analyses, and assisting with technical implementations. The successful candidate will also oversee multifunction devices, VoIP, and video communication tools, provide first-level support, and manage change for hardware and software, including new acquisitions and access rights. Further duties encompass certificate and license administration, as well as supporting the IT security concept and analyzing security incidents. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the digital transformation of public administration.
Required Skills
Education
Completed university or university of applied sciences degree (Bachelor, Diploma) in (Applied) Computer Science, Administrative Informatics, Business Informatics, Media Informatics, Information and Communication Technology, or a comparable qualification such as IT Specialist (Fachwirt/-in), State-certified Technician in Computer Science, or Business Administrator for Information Processing.
Experience
- Knowledge and practical experience in the IT area
- Knowledge and practical experience in administrative processes and procedures
- Knowledge and practical experience in project management (Prince2; ITIL)
- Proficient knowledge and experience in applying workplace-related PC software (MS-Office, CMS, ticketing systems)
