As an experienced environmental engineer, you will play a crucial role in the ecological support of sustainable wind energy projects, focusing on environmental and species protection throughout the entire project lifecycle. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve ensuring the quality of environmental surveys, managing external expert assessments, and guaranteeing compliance with nature conservation regulations. You will coordinate and evaluate external reports, develop and implement compensatory measures, and manage required monitoring activities. This position is ideal for a professional with a background in environmental or landscape planning, strong negotiation skills, and a solution-oriented approach, who is looking to contribute to sustainable energy development in a permanent role.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Environmental or Landscape Planning, Landscape Management, Geography, Biology, or comparable qualification
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in environmental and nature conservation
- In-depth knowledge of approval procedures for infrastructure measures
- Familiarity with relevant legal frameworks, especially environmental and water protection compatibility, intervention regulation, nature and species protection
