Job Summary

The Technical Assistant will join the Institute of Pharmaceutical Biology at TU Braunschweig, focusing on molecular natural product research. This role involves conducting experimental work in research projects, managing laboratory organization, and supporting student practicals. Key tasks include performing heterologous and homologous production of natural products, their extraction and analysis using techniques like preparative HPLC and LC-MS, and applying molecular biology and biochemical techniques such as enzyme extraction, protein analysis, PCR, and DNA cloning. The ideal candidate will have a background as a biological, pharmaceutical, or chemical technical assistant, with strong analytical instrument experience and proficiency in molecular biology and biochemistry. This part-time, fixed-term position offers an engaging role in a supportive academic environment.
