Job Summary
As an IT Service Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for resolving IT incidents and changes, providing crucial IT support across multiple locations. Your core responsibilities include ensuring the smooth administration of IT infrastructure and the efficient operation of IT systems, particularly those supporting production, payroll, attendance, and databases. You will be instrumental in implementing global IT standards and processes to maintain compliance and consistency. The role also involves managing relationships with local IT service providers, overseeing procurement, and ensuring timely delivery of IT equipment and services. Additionally, you will act as the local IT security officer, implementing and monitoring security measures and responding to incidents. This position offers an opportunity to continuously develop within a dynamic environment.
Required Skills
Education
Completed IT education or comparable qualification acquired through professional experience or further training
Experience
- Professional experience in IT support and IT management
- Experience in an industrial or production-related environment (ideal)
- Expertise in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
- Experience with data center infrastructures and IT service-desk tools
