Job Summary
This role is for an Automation and Process Control Engineer to join the "Process Control Technology and Automation" department, focusing on strategic development within the context of Water Management 4.0. The successful candidate will identify and address potential areas for strategic process control and information security, conceptualize new OT architectures, systems, and products, and lead fundamental system/technology decisions. Key responsibilities include managing research projects in digitalization, conducting feasibility studies for automation innovations, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and standards, and coordinating cross-departmental standardization. This position offers the opportunity to lead OT projects, ensure quality in automation technology, and contribute to internal training, making it an attractive role for a professional eager to drive technological advancement in critical infrastructure.
Required Skills
Education
University degree (ideally Master's or equivalent scientific university degree) in Electrical Engineering/Automation Technology, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or comparable fields; or Bachelor's degree in the mentioned fields with demonstrable equivalent skills acquired through many years of relevant professional experience.
Experience
- Professional experience in automation technology (advantageous)
- Experience in information security within industrial control systems (desirable)
