Job Summary

This role is for a Chemical Expert to lead an R&D and production team focused on developing scalable purification processes for innovative, sustainable building blocks used in novel polyester-based plastics. The successful candidate will strategize and execute the upscale of processes from laboratory to commercial scale, validate ideas through experiments, and manage external development projects to purify complex mixtures into fine chemicals. Key responsibilities include defining product specifications, collaborating with management and R&D teams, driving innovation in purification technologies, preparing technical reports and patent applications, and ensuring adherence to SHEQ and sustainability standards, including knowledge of REACH/CLP and LCA. This position requires a proactive, structured individual capable of thriving in a fast-paced startup environment.
