Job Summary

This role involves supporting the coordination and implementation of educational and democracy-promoting projects within the Municipal Integration Center of Mülheim an der Ruhr. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of administrative and organizational tasks, including preparing meetings, coordinating with schools and external partners, and creating presentations. A key part of the role also involves grant program controlling, such as assisting with funding applications, budget planning, and financial reporting. Additionally, the position requires involvement in event management, public relations, and documentation. Ideal candidates will possess a relevant bachelor's degree, strong organizational skills, empathy, intercultural sensitivity, and excellent communication abilities. Required Skills

Education

University of Applied Sciences degree/Bachelor's degree with a focus on migration or integration, OR qualification for the higher non-technical administrative service (Laufbahngruppe 2, 1. Einstiegsamt), OR Bachelor of Laws (HSPV NRW), OR successful completion of Verwaltungslehrgang II (VL II).

Experience

  • Professional experience in integration work or municipal administration (if bachelor's degree is not migration/integration-specific)
  • Experience in project implementation and coordination
  • Experience with administrative and organizational tasks
  • Experience in budget planning and monitoring
