Job Summary

This role involves the implementation, administration, and monitoring of highly available IT services within a professional public data center certified by the BSI according to ISO27001. The successful candidate will primarily focus on telephony services and infrastructure, network infrastructures (LAN, MAN, WAN), provider connections, and firewall services, as well as central monitoring and logging systems. They will also contribute to IT projects related to networking and telephony. Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree in computer science or a related field with a significant computer science component, OR completed vocational training as an IT Specialist (System Integration or Application Development) or in a comparable IT profession with qualified further training in the mentioned areas, OR willingness to participate in an employer-funded trainee program.

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT administration, particularly with telephony and network infrastructures, is desired but not strictly required.
  • Entry-level applicants are welcome.
  • Basic knowledge and initial experience in operating TCP/IP networks on an Ethernet basis are desirable.
  • Knowledge and experience in project management are desirable.
