Job Summary
This role is for an Electronic Banking and Payment Transactions Specialist, focusing on EBICS within one of Europe's largest banking IT service providers. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing and enhancing payment transaction applications for corporate clients, actively contributing to the evolution of electronic payment standards like EBICS and ISO20022. Day-to-day tasks involve conceptualizing, planning, and integrating OPSlus applications, managing complex interfaces, and collaborating on strategic projects. You will also provide expert consultation to program development teams, derive technical requirements, and offer 2nd and 3rd-level support. This position is ideal for an analytical individual with an affinity for corporate banking, eager to drive innovation in a dynamic market environment and ensure high-quality, continuous development of payment systems.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable field of study
Experience
- At least 6 years of professional experience in payment transactions or electronic banking
- Professional experience in conceptualizing, planning, and integrating OPSlus applications
- Experience in managing complex FI interfaces and external service providers
- Experience in collaborating on internal studies, projects, and external working groups
- Experience in strategic planning and developing technical concepts in complex environments
- Experience in providing consultation for program development
- Experience in deriving technical requirements and ensuring program tests
- Experience in developing and documenting solutions and processes
- Experience in supporting and maintaining existing applications
