Job Summary

This role involves driving the development and continuous improvement of additive manufacturing technologies, specifically PBF-LB/M (Selective Laser Melting), for the repair of gas turbine blades. The engineer will be responsible for supporting manufacturing operations through root-cause analysis, implementing sustainable error corrections, and optimizing upstream and downstream processes. A key aspect is the planning and execution of product and process qualifications, collaborating with various departments like Supply Chain Management and Product Development. Additionally, the position includes developing new processes, industrializing them, and contributing to the production portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering or similar, with specific experience in additive manufacturing for high-temperature materials and proficiency in relevant CAD/CAM software and metrology tools.
