Job Summary
The City of Dortmund is seeking a Geoinformatics Specialist to join its Surveying and Cadastral Office. This role focuses on enhancing the city's geoinformation infrastructure, serving both the administration and citizens. The successful candidate will be instrumental in transforming and analyzing geodata using FME Form, automating processes with FME Flow, and developing and operating geo-services with Geoserver and QGIS-Server. Key responsibilities also include geodata modeling, analysis, and application adaptation using QGIS, as well as the continuous development of work processes. This position offers a chance to contribute to innovative, data-driven applications and a future-oriented public administration, with opportunities for professional growth and a high degree of autonomy in a supportive team environment.
Required Skills
Education
Bachelor, Master, or Diploma in Geoinformatics, Computer Science, Geodesy, Geography, or comparable studies with a focus on Geoinformation; or civil servants with qualification for career group 2, first entry level of surveying technical service.
