Job Summary
This role involves providing second-level IT support and comprehensive service management for the German federal administration. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and administering client systems, managing user accounts, and interacting directly with users to resolve issues. Key tasks include handling incidents and service requests through a ticketing system, performing hardware and software rollouts, coordinating customer appointments, and assisting with IT logistics. The position offers a stable public service environment with a focus on teamwork and direct user interaction, contributing to the digitalization of federal services. It requires strong technical skills in client and Windows OS administration, customer service, and ideally knowledge of networking, IT security, and ITIL.
Required Skills
Education
Vocational training with IT relevance or equivalent qualifications
Experience
- Successfully completed vocational training with relevant IT focus
- Or: Proven equivalent skills and experience in the corresponding professional field of at least 3 years
- Or: Civil servant in the mid-level service career path (BesGr. A 6m to A 8 BBesO)
- Experience in administration and configuration of clients and Windows operating systems
- Experience in customer consulting and support

- Must possess a driver's license and be willing to drive official vehicles. Must agree to a security check according to the Security Clearance Act. Willingness to be on call.
