Job Summary
The City of Villingen-Schwenningen is seeking a dedicated System and Network Administrator to join their Digital Transformation and IT team. This role is pivotal in shaping the city's digital future, involving the planning, installation, configuration, and maintenance of critical IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will proactively develop and maintain the city's web presence using Typo3, implement and optimize cloud applications with a strong emphasis on Microsoft 365, and administer Windows server and client environments. Additionally, the role includes supporting and enhancing the Geoinformation System (GIS) and ensuring data integrity and performance of database systems. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Computer Science, or completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in system and network administration, ideally with a focus on cloud solutions, especially Microsoft 365
- Experience in managing Geoinformation Systems (GIS) is a plus
