Job Summary

This role involves the development of complex hardware for power electronics within the automotive sector. Key responsibilities include specifying passive article-specific components, designing cost-optimized circuit topologies, and enhancing the efficiency of power electronics. The engineer will also be involved in designing snubbers, sizing chokes and transformers, and conducting regular cost analyses of power electronic systems, focusing on semiconductors and passive components. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in electrical engineering with a specialization in power electronics, coupled with initial professional experience in a similar capacity. Familiarity with PFC circuits, various DC/DC converter topologies, and control algorithms for analog and digital converters is essential. Experience within the automotive environment, including development processes like the V-model and SPICE, is highly beneficial.
