Job Summary
This role is for an ambitious Senior Scientist passionate about driving technological progress in the pharmaceutical and life science sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing downstream processes for recombinant cells and proteins within a regulated GMP environment. This involves designing and executing experimental studies, including Design of Experiments (DoEs), and utilizing analytical and laboratory equipment for chromatography, filtration, and flow cytometry. The position requires meticulous documentation of results, creation of SOPs, and handling of various biological samples. Required Skills
Education
Degree in (Molecular) Biology, Chemistry, or a related field
Experience
- Several years of laboratory experience in an industrial pharmaceutical environment (GMP) or during a doctorate
- Practical experience with analytical methods in Downstream Processing (e.g., chromatography, filtration)
- Experience in planning experiments (DoE)
- Experience in handling samples (procurement, collection, preparation, and distribution)
