As an Information Security Officer, you will be responsible for establishing and continuously developing the Information Security Management System (ISMS) according to BSI standards. This role requires a blend of strategic and operational work, collaborating closely with IT operations, various departments, senior management, and external partners like CERT-BW and BSI. Your day-to-day will involve developing and enforcing security policies, conducting risk analyses and audits, and ensuring security in IT procurements and digitalization projects. You will also play a key role in raising security awareness and training staff. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in (Administrative) Informatics, Information Security, or comparable field
Experience
- Professional experience in IT security and common standards (BSI, ISO 27001)
- Ideally, experience in emergency management
- Ideally, experience in municipal or public IT structures
