Job Summary
Join a leading global science company as a Hardware Design Engineer, focusing on the next generation of high-precision rotational rheometers. In this role, you will design and develop critical electronic components, including ultra-low torque generation systems, high-resolution axial force measurement, and precise rotary encoder integration. A key aspect of your work will involve circuit design for multiprocessor platforms using ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers and TI C2000 real-time processors. You will be responsible for the full hardware lifecycle, from circuit design and PCB layout using Altium Designer to system integration, lab verification, and documentation, collaborating closely with firmware, software, and mechanical engineering teams. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or comparable technical field
Experience
- Several years of experience in developing complex electronic systems for measurement, control, or drive technology
- Strong expertise in power electronics, precise analog and digital circuit design, and electric motor control
- Practical experience with sensor systems, signal processing, and multiprocessor hardware development
- Solid understanding of EMC-compliant design and industrial manufacturing requirements
