Job Summary

Join HR Group, one of Central Europe's leading hotel operators, as a Tax Associate to support their finance team in Berlin. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing various tax declarations, including corporate, trade, and VAT returns, as well as capital gains tax registrations and reports under Section 50a EStG. Your day-to-day will also involve reviewing tax assessments, filing objections, and meticulously monitoring deadlines for tax declarations and reports. You will communicate directly with tax authorities, assist with annual, quarterly, and monthly financial statements, and collaborate closely with tax advisors, auditors, and tax auditors. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to process optimization and development. The ideal candidate will have a degree in economics or business administration with a focus on tax, or a commercial apprenticeship with additional qualifications as a tax specialist, coupled with relevant professional experience. Strong German language skills are essential, and English is a plus.
