This role offers an exciting opportunity for a Laboratory Technician to join Roche Diagnostics GmbH in Mannheim through a temporary employment contract with Franz & Wach. The successful candidate will be responsible for independently conducting technical activities related to the development of diagnostic test systems, including variance, comparative, batch, and tolerance evaluations. Key responsibilities also involve verifying system and/or assay performance, creating experimental plans and work instructions, performing experiments, and presenting statistical analysis results to the team. The position requires a professional with a background in chemical laboratory work, strong experience in system development within the chemical industry, and specific expertise in diagnostic measurement systems, particularly in Point of Care. Required Skills

Education

Completed training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician/Chemical Engineer or relevant vocational training. University degree is not required.

Experience

  • Professional experience in system development in the chemical industry
  • Professional experience in the development of diagnostic measurement systems in the Point of Care area
  • Experience in system and assay performance evaluation for diagnostic measurement systems
  • Experience with optical measurement procedures and devices (preferred)
  • Experience in the development of diagnostic systems from the PoC area (advantageous)
  • Knowledge of cardiac measurement systems (advantageous)
