Job Summary
This role involves comprehensive administrative support within the Citizen Services department of the City of Kempen. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the resident registration system, processing various applications including passports, ID cards, and driving licenses, and handling inquiries and certifications. Key duties also include managing lost and found items, issuing various permits and licenses (e.g., fishing licenses, resident parking permits), and handling cash transactions for fees. The position requires strong organizational skills, a high degree of responsibility, and a customer-oriented approach. Civil Service Qualification for Administrative Services (formerly Intermediate Service) or successfully completed Administrative Training Course I (Verwaltungslehrgang I)
Experience
- Professional experience in administrative tasks within a public service setting is desirable
- Experience with the VOIS specialized software system is desirable

- Willingness to work on Saturdays and at satellite offices in St. Hubert and Tönisberg; willingness to work flexible hours, including afternoons according to a duty roster; Class B driving license is advantageous.
