Job Summary

This role is for an EMC Design Engineer specializing in high-frequency electromagnetic fields within the System Design team, focusing on HVDC and FACTS systems. You will be instrumental in developing EMC concepts, performing detailed design calculations using analytical and simulation methods, and creating technically optimal solutions for global energy transition challenges. Day-to-day tasks involve conducting design-relevant studies (e.g., calculations, FEM, 3D model analysis) for radio interference and conducted emissions, designing filter circuits, and advancing high-frequency models. This position requires close collaboration with other Siemens Energy teams, presenting study results to clients, and participating in acceptance measurements. You will also contribute to team-wide cooperation, continuous improvement, and the digitalization of HVDC and FACTS areas, including involvement in R&D for novel applications and tool development for internal calculations and measurement data evaluation.
