Job Summary

Join the German Centre for Astrophysics (DZA) during its foundational phase in Görlitz, contributing to the establishment of a major research institution. This role involves shaping and advancing the HR IT system landscape, including developing strategies, selecting systems, and ensuring seamless integration with existing HR processes like ERP, time management, and e-files. You will drive digital transformation within HR, identifying and evaluating new technologies such as AI-powered tools and automation solutions. Key responsibilities also include building and visualizing HR KPIs, leading end-to-end projects using agile methodologies, and managing stakeholders across internal departments and external vendors. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a significant scientific endeavor and actively influence the structural transformation of the Upper Lusatia region, with the potential for a permanent position after the initial setup phase.

Required Skills

Education

University degree (Master/University Diploma) in Business Informatics, Human Resources Management with an IT focus, IT Management, Informatics, Administrative Informatics, or a similarly suitable field with equivalent skills and experience.

Experience

  • Several years of experience in building and managing digital HR systems
  • Experience with ERP systems or similar tools, ideally in public administration or research institutions
  • Experience in project management, ideally with agile methods
