Job Summary
This role is for an Electronics Technician specializing in signal technology, crucial for maintaining railway infrastructure and ensuring safe mobility in Leipzig. The successful candidate will be responsible for the reliable maintenance and revision of track and signal technology for industrial and branch lines. Key tasks include testing adjustment parameters of signal circuits, switch drives, and track circuits, as well as functional testing of switch lighting and main/secondary signal lighting. Additionally, the role involves checking parameters of railway crossing systems like induction loops, lamp currents, barrier drives, and axle counting circuits. Ideal candidates will have a completed vocational training in an electrical engineering field, a Signal Worker qualification (or willingness to obtain one), and a Class B driving license. This position offers a stable, full-time role without shift work or assembly duties, providing a great opportunity to contribute to public transport safety.
