Job Summary
The University Hospital Bonn (UKB) is seeking a highly motivated PhD candidate for a part-time position (25.025 h/week) in Cancer Immunology within the Medical Clinic III for Oncology, Hematology, and Rheumatology. The successful candidate will join the Brägelmann lab, focusing on understanding tumor evolution and adaptation, and investigating how modifying cell death pathways after cancer treatment impacts tumor-immune interactions in lung and squamous cell cancers. This role involves working with human samples, in vitro and in vivo models, and applying advanced techniques like imaging flow cytometry and single-cell sequencing to identify novel combination therapies. Candidates should possess a Master’s degree in life sciences, a strong background in immunology, molecular, and cell biology, and practical experience in relevant lab techniques.
