Job Summary
As a Project Manager for Building Automation, you will be the primary point of contact for clients and planning stakeholders, independently developing and implementing solutions for building control and regulation. You will work within a team of electrical, HVAC, and refrigeration planners, creating comprehensive solutions. This role requires a structured and independent approach, with close coordination with team leads and direct access to management. You will be responsible for planning and monitoring services according to HOAI (German Fee Schedule for Architects and Engineers) phases 1-9. This position is ideal for experienced professionals or even ambitious newcomers with a strong foundation in electrical and control systems, offering a chance to contribute to the energy transition within a family-owned engineering firm known for its flat hierarchies and supportive environment.
Required Skills
Education
Completed engineering degree, or certified technician/master in Electrical Engineering, Measurement, Control, and Regulation Technology, or Building Automation. Alternatively, prior training as a System Planner, CAD Drafter, Electrical Engineer, Automation Electronics Technician, or Control Technician.
Experience
- At least 5 years of professional experience in a comparable position with project responsibility
- Professional experience in planning or execution of electrical and control systems (entry-level candidates also considered)
- Experience gained in a TGA planning office, construction department, plant construction, or as a service/commissioning engineer for electrical and control systems
