Job Summary
This role involves contributing to crucial bat monitoring efforts, particularly around wind energy facilities. The successful candidate will be instrumental in planning and executing surveys, coordinating data collection and analysis, managing data efficiently, and preparing expert reports. A significant part of the job includes advancing evaluation processes, developing new survey technologies, and exploring new business opportunities within environmental and nature conservation. This position offers the chance to work within a dedicated and international team on impactful projects aimed at sustainable environmental practices and active species protection. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Biology or related fields
Experience
- Experience in species protection and conducting monitoring projects, especially with bats
- Experience in organizing projects (advantageous)
- Experience in acoustic bat data acquisition including call analysis (advantageous)
- Experience in preparing expert reports regarding species protection or FFH areas (advantageous)

- Must possess a valid driver's license (PKW-Führerschein). High level of personal responsibility, motivation, and flexibility are required. Willingness to be trained in additional applications. Preferred work location is Husum, with Hamburg as an alternative. Mobile working is possible.
