Job Summary
This temporary 6-month role in the Basel area offers valuable practical experience within a dynamic, international company, focusing on improving data quality, reporting, and internal processes across various departments like Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, and Customer Service. The successful candidate will be responsible for key Data Management tasks, including analyzing, verifying, and updating prices, delivery times, and minimum order quantities, and ensuring data consistency within the SAP system. Furthermore, the role involves supporting the development of a structured product classification system, optimizing existing Sales and Forecast reports for improved clarity, and contributing to the harmonization of cross-site tools for cost calculation and quotation generation. This position is ideal for candidates with ongoing or completed university studies in relevant fields who possess strong analytical skills and mandatory excellent English proficiency.
Required Skills
Education
Ongoing or completed university degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or comparable fields.
Experience
- Professional experience in data verification, analysis, and maintenance
- Initial experience with ERP systems, ideally SAP, is a plus
- Experience ensuring data consistency between internal systems and customers
- Experience coordinating multiple tasks simultaneously and working independently
