Job Summary
The Deutsche Bundesbank is seeking an Energy Management Engineer to play a pivotal role in supporting their energy manager and advancing sustainable central banking operations. This position involves optimizing the energy management and controlling system, developing the metering and counting infrastructure, and analyzing consumption data to identify savings potential. The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing energy efficiency across nationwide locations through stakeholder engagement, training, and support, as well as managing the procurement of electricity, gas, and district heating. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Energy Management, Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or comparable field. Qualification to issue energy performance certificates for residential and non-residential buildings, or willingness to acquire it.
Experience
- At least two years of practical experience in technical building equipment, ideally as a project or operations engineer
- Experience in the support and further development of usage concepts for energy monitoring and controlling software
