Job Summary

This is a high-responsibility leadership role as the Head of Finance for the Office of the Attorney General of Switzerland (MPC), an independent federal authority committed to national security and prosecuting serious international crime. The successful candidate will lead the finance and accounting department, overseeing a finance specialist, and driving the development of financial processes. Key responsibilities include strategic financial management, budget planning, account closure, and controlling. A critical aspect is preparing high-quality budgetary and financial documentation for federal supervisory bodies (including parliamentary commissions), ensuring compliance with federal directives and the Internal Control System (IKS). The role requires a tertiary degree in business management and several years of financial management experience, ideally within the public sector, coupled with strong analytical skills and a strategic mindset. This position offers a decisive contribution to the institution's effectiveness and reliability by ensuring financial stability and transparency in decision-making reports.

Experience

  • Several years of experience in financial and budgetary management.

  • Professional experience advising management and executives on financial and economic matters.

Additional
