Job Summary
This role is for an innovative System Engineer specializing in radio communication, passionate about developing advanced technological solutions. You will be responsible for designing and optimizing software behavior models for radio communication, including integrating them with larger simulation environments using interfaces like HLA and DIS. A key part of the role involves conceptualizing a software-based simulator for quasi-real-time network communication, collaborating closely with system engineers and specialists in operational scenarios, AESA antennas, and waveform development. You will also provide crucial support to clients and industry partners in applying these models within their comprehensive avionics system-of-systems simulation environments. The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical background, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to bridge the gap between customer needs and development teams, contributing to cutting-time technology advancements.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Communication Engineering, Telecommunications, or Physics
Experience
- Professional experience in communication or radio technology
- Experience in network simulation with tools like OMNET++, NS3, MATLAB Wireless Network Simulator
- Experience in C/C++ programming
