Job Summary

This leadership role involves overseeing the Fire and Disaster Protection department, starting October 1, 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical and social leadership of staff, setting quality standards, and managing personnel matters for the district fire brigade. Key duties include handling fire services (procurement, digital radio, administrative support for breathing apparatus and sandbag logistics, alarm planning, grant allocation) and disaster protection (disaster plans, flood protection, risk management, psychosocial emergency care concepts, personnel deployment, and exercises). The role also encompasses civil defense, civil-military cooperation, managing complex procurement procedures, addressing difficult individual cases, and overseeing budget planning and execution.
